Techno-fantasy

Somewhat inspired by the tastefully dark "Vampire Hunter D (1985)", this figbarf melds together medieval fantasy and a subtle (looking at you, Nexo) influence of "tech", with some of the older and less commonly used Lego pieces in the mix. L to R, around 3962 AD or so:

1. A man-machine abomination - many tried welding man and machine together, but none succeeded. The few surviving examples are no more than ghastly automatons, flesh long overtaken by machine, roaming the ruins of the old world.

2. A green phantasmoslug hiding behind a fire altar, an enigmatic creature that feeds on small organic prey by enveloping and dissolving them.

3. Kaa'na, the horned bloodthirsty queen who used to command a fearsome army. Together they divided and conquered the entire continent, but as with all things, after several decades of pillaging the queen's food source dried up and she eventually turned on her own soldiers, consuming them one by one until none remained.

4. The current general of the queen's army is, much like every soldier under his command, a steel contraption. Soulless, nameless machines forever replaced humans and are now being sent far and wide to bring whatever flesh they can find for the queen to feast on.

5. Elvana is a resistance fighter belonging to a small group of dissidents - some of them former queen's soldiers - who are struggling to survive in the lands of the old world. She is said to be of half-elven blood, which may hint at why the queen has not succeeded in tracking and capturing her despite all efforts.

6. Kestrel, Elvana's companion and protector. Commissioned by her great-grandfather, he has been a part of the family for many decades.

That's all for today! And as mentioned before, if you happen to be from the future and find this portrayal untruthful, then by all means please do correct me.
