Y-type AECs and a Ford R-Series at Wick
Representatives of both the "old guard" and the "new guard" of single deckers with Highland Omnibuses are seen parked adjacent to the railway station at Wick in the Summer of 1980. The 1966 AEC Y-type nearest the camera has been fitted with the later-style fibreglass front panel and no longer carries a winged AEC badge, Quite why I did not take another picture of its sister at the rear in original condition I will never know!
The Fords present are bodied by alexander and willowbrook respectively.
