Ensemble musicale Blu Gospel (Italia)
L’ensemble musicale Blu Gospel è stato nel 1997 da Pierluigi Volpiana, riunendo giovani del comune di Sarego (Vicenza) accomunati dall’interesse per la musica spiritual e gospel. Il repertorio spazia dai brani della tradizione ad altri di recente composizione, sia a cappella che con accompagnamento strumentale. Nel 2008 il coro ha ottenuto la prestigiosa fascia d’argento al concorso corale nazionale “Franchino Gaffurio” (Lodi), sezione spiritual e gospel. Recentemente, al concorso corale internazionale di Riva del Garda “In…canto sul Garda”, si e’ aggiudicato la fascia d’argento per la categoria “pop modern” (con i seguenti brani: Rock around the clock, Seasons of love, New York, New York e Somebody to love), ed ha ottenuto la prestigiosa fascia d’oro per la categoria “gospel”(con i seguenti brani: Wade in the water, You can’t stand up, i Surrender all e Shackles).
Curriculum del direttore
Lorella Miotello ha studiato canto e direzione corale presso la Scuola Ceciliana di Vicenza, frequentando i corsi tenuti dal M° Piergiorgio Righele. Dal 1993 dirige il gruppo Melodema, con il quale ha ottenuto numerose affermazioni in concorsi nazionali ed internazionali, tra cui il premio al direttore del miglior coro ottenuto in tre occasioni. È stata insegnante di canto per conto dell’università degli adulti di Costabissara, e dirige il coro formatosi da questa esperienza “Il rosso e il nero” e conduce corsi e seminari sulla vocalità con Elvira Pisaturo. Dal 2007 ha assunto la direzione del coro blu gospel di Monticello di Fara, che ha ottenuto nello scorso ottobre la fascia d’oro al concorso internazionale di Riva del Garda, nella sezione spiritual e gospel. Collabora anche con altri musicisti, in particolare con il pianista e compositore Ian Lawrence Mistrorigo.
The Blue Gospel music ensemble was founded by Pierluigi Volpiana in 1997. It consists of young people of Sarego (Vicenza) who love gospel and spiritual music. The choir repertoire ranges of traditional pieces and other modern compositions, both a cappella and with instrumental accompaniment. In 2008 the choir won the prestigious “fascia d’argento” in the national choral competition “Franchino Gaffurio” (Lodi), spiritual and gospel section. Recently, in the international choral competition of Riva del Garda “In…canto sul Garda”, the choir was awarded the “fascia d’argento” in the category “pop modern” (with: Rock around the clock, Seasons of love, New York, New York e Somebody to love), and the prestigious “fascia d’oro” in the “gospel” category (with: Wade in the water, You can’t stand up, Surrender all e Shackles).

Lorella Miotello studied singing and choral conduction at the “Scuola Ceciliana” of Vicenza, attending classes of M° Piergiorgio Righele. Since 1993 she has been conducting the “Melodema” choir, with which she was awarded numerous prizes in both national and international competitions, among them the prize for best conduction that she won three times. She taught singing at the university of the third age of Costabissara, and conducts the choir “Il rosso e il nero”, which was born thanks to this experience. She also holds vocal courses and seminars with Elvira Pisaturo. Since 2007 she has been conducting the “Blu Gospel” choir of Monticello di Fara, which was awarded the “fascia d’oro” in the International Competition of Riva del Garda, section spiritual and gospel. She cooperates also with other musicians, especially with the composer and pianist Ian Lawrence Mistrorigo.
