After deeming them a ploy to make new parents spend money on unnecessary baby crap, J and I held off on the video monitor when Alice was born. Once she became mobile, I started regretting not buying one. With another one on the way, we decided to finally go for it. It's pretty neat, but I do feel like I'm infringing on her privacy a bit.
