7.23.08 Oiling up the Machine

It's been literally 10 years since I last cleaned my sewing machine. It's been performance has definitely declined over the years - the stiches aren't neat and cute, the thread breaks a bit. It very well may be a placebo effect, but to me the machine feels good as new! (knocking on wood). Plus, I got to feel like a badass for taking the whole thing apart.
