6.26.08 Maths
Sometimes I get sad when I think about how the only math I do anymore if for knitting or sewing. But then I decide I shouldn't be sad because at least I'm doing some math, however little, and that my fancy high school calculator is still getting used for something. I do think it's depressing to think about all the science, math, history, etc. I learned in school is slowly dripping out of my atrophying (I might have made this word up) brain, though. Like today at work when I was trying to make a line graph in Excel (my achilles heel of the microsoft office suite) and I had to stop and think which was the "X" axis and which was the "Y."
But, yay! I'm already planning my baby quilt. I opted to use the "What a Bunch of Squares" pattern from DSQ.
