Yesterday morning was cold, wet and disgusting. Before heading to work, I threw my go-to responsible shoes in my bag and strapped on some cold weather boots. When I reached my desk, I only had one shoe! Good thing, I keep about 5 spare pairs in my desk drawer!
I convinced myself the missing shoe was in my car. Wasn't. it must be at home then. Wasn't. It must have fallen out of my bag on my walk into work. Fallen into the wet, snowy slush!
On a whim, this morning I asked the security guard if anyone had turned in any shoes. After looking at me for a minute, he reached under his desk and pulled out my shoe! Yay!
