[122/365] My New Running Buddy
Today, Miles and I went for our very first run together. It was a momentous occasion, and one I've been patiently awaiting. Labs are susceptible to hip troubles, so it's recommended to hold off on running with them until they're at least 18 months and their hips are fully developed.
He was such a good boy - there were certainly highs (when we fell into pace with each other) and lows (the four times he stopped to pee as well as some other business, which I had to carry for a quarter mile!), but I think he'll make a good running buddy after all.
This picture was right after we returned home and had a treat celebration.
(Oh, this was my first non-treadmill run since October. How I missed running outside!)
