We live in a cute little suburban Donna Reed neighborhood. So, of course we have a holiday block party. My contribution was a plate of magic bars. The peanut butter cookies, my co-specialty with the magic bars, came out of the oven flat as a pancake and flaky rather than chewy. I sent them to work with J instead.
