Sun Ra vs. The Space Invader - Intrastellar Space Vest

Intrastellar space vest coat in deep gray and bold yellow. First of all, it's structured, sculpted - and yes, it's supposed to stick out like that. Made of quilted layers of new and recycled fabric - the top gray level is cotton canvas - with arcs of freeform stitching in gray and orange. (are they a map to a hidden universe?) The back has a quilted yellow panel - see the close-up for details.

 

Fairly free sized, with generous arm holes - wear over a sweater or another coat if you want.

 

For the braver space / time warrior you could, if you desired, wear it reversed. The inside is bright yellow in front, and bright tomato red in back. The side seams are slightly, just slightly rough, as they are serged then tacked down, but I'm guessing if you're bold enough to wear it this way, they won't stop you.
