Sure, it is still possible to get an Illinois Central engine to lead the Canadian National M337-91 road job. But two of them? In 2022?
Let's throw in some telegraph poles, make this a monochrome, and the only reason why you could say this occurred recently was because of the lack of the grainy film look. Otherwise, Huey Lewis and the News' "Back in Time" was playing on the radio, and "Back To The Future" was playing on the big screens when these engines came out...and I thought it was appropriate for the theme here.
This was taken 1 mile west of Seward, IL. Unfortunately, M338 with a burned BNSF GE engine blocked the view of this as 337 took the siding in Seward, which would have ruined the depot shot. In retrospect, I might have gotten the shot. But that would require me to go back in time...
