Federale Recording Session
This was the main room we recorded in. As you can see the room is in complete disrepair, but the sound in here is incredible. The natural reverb echos in your bones long after the note has been played. I left the shutter open from the time we left at 11:30pm until 10:00am the next morning. I guess I should add that this is an old Masonic Temple off of Killingsworth, that has been abandoned since 1982. There is considerable fire damage, and some of the bottom floors are rotting through. (we found that out the hard way) McMenamins apparently bought it, and are no doubt going to renovate it and make it as "unique" as all of there other places. I am glad we had the chance to record in here before it is totally changed.
