Twisleton in winter

What a fantastic winter's day!

 

I'd not found this tree before. It's slightly off the beaten track, and I only spotted it since the minor road into Kingsdale was blocked by snow (to my rather low car at least), so I walked up to Twisleton from Ingleton via the waterfalls walk and spotted this windswept hawthorn on the edge of the scar. The banked snow beneath it is about waist deep; more in places!
