This is a goose egg I bought in order to try and macro photograph It's about 8.5 centimeters tall, and to the human eye it's almost perfectly smooth and white. The base of the egg isn't at flag as a hen's egg, so getting it to stand upright has a challenge which required some careful application of Blu Tack!
