Lotus Visitor

This is a 450mm telephoto photograph.

 

I don't claim to have purposefully taken this photo.

I processed the photo 6 years after I had taken it. It was only in going back over the photos for the third time that I noticed the juxtaposition of the small bee and the lotus seed pod within the flower petals.

 

So, no great artistic pre-perception/visualization of this scene by the photographer in this case - just a good realization after the fact.
