I posted this portrait and the greyhound here today in observance of "Bloggers Unite Against Abuse" Day (September 27, 2007). Pity the poor animals who have the misfortune to be bred for the so-called "sports" of dog-fighting and dog-racing, but KUDOS to the kind souls who quietly stand against animal abuse by rescuing them and giving them the love they deserve!
