MTS has been producing Regional Transit Maps (RTMs) for San Diego County for 30 years. Comparing maps from year to year shows the evolution of transit in the county. This series shows the front cover, back cover, and a sample central San Diego portion of the RTM.
This 2011 map is the first major overhaul of the map in over a decade. The base map was completely redrawn and each bus route now has a distinct color, allowing the user to follow the path of the route much more easily. Also, text copy was reduced so that the map scale could be slightly enlarged.
