SDMIMD Signs MoU for Urban Tree Census in Mysuru
We are proud to announce that SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Centre for Advanced Learning (CFAL), Mangaluru, and Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) to jointly conduct a Tree Census in and around Siddharthanagar, Mysuru.
This initiative is more than just data collection — it’s about building an open-access repository of our city’s tree heritage, anchoring sustainable urban planning, and raising environmental awareness at the grassroots level.
A team of 20 student volunteers from SDMIMD’s ESG and Drushti Committees will carry out the field survey and data entry, ensuring academic rigor and community participation go hand in hand. This collaboration reinforces SDMIMD’s commitment to sustainability education and community engagement.
