Inauguration of New Lab at SDMIMD
We are delighted to share that Shri Surendra Kumar Heggade, Vice President, SDM Trust, recently inaugurated our new state-of-the-art lab at SDMIMD, Mysuru. Through a strategic collaboration with Intel under the Intel Unnati Program, the institute has now established an advanced facility built on Intel’s Intelligent Desktop Virtualization infrastructure. This setup marries high-performance desktop virtualization with a powerful server architecture capable of managing data-intensive AI workloads, ensuring our students have access to the compute power they need for tomorrow’s challenges. Beyond just hardware, this lab opens doors to Intel’s specialised learning resources and live training sessions led by Intel executives in emerging AI domains. The inauguration marks a milestone in our commitment to equipping students with cutting-edge infrastructure and exposure.
