87320142 :Piction ID--George Brown Log Book-George Brown was a USCG gunner aboard the USS Arthur Middleton (AP-55/APA-25), which ran aground at Amchitka, AK, on 12 January 1943 during a rescue operation to unload troops from the USS Worden, which had also run aground. The ship was refloated on 9 April 1943.
