KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. The encapsulated GOES-N spacecraft moves closer to the launch service tower at Launch Complex 37 on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The spacecraft will be lifted up into the tower and mated with the waiting Boeing Delta IV. Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES) are sponsored by NASAs Goddard Space Flight Center and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
