Simracing takes guts

The Logitech Driving Force GT is an official racing wheel peripheral intended for use with racing games on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3.[1] It is manufactured and distributed by Logitech International S.A of Romanel-sur-Morges, Switzerland. Released on December 13, 2007. The Logitech Driving Force GT competes with Microsoft's Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel and Nintendo's Wii Wheel as part of the seventh generation of racing wheels.

The result is life-like handling of the cars (depending on the game currently played, of course) and thus extremely enhanced fun. Let's just say the 24 hours of Le Mans never felt so real before - I could physically feel the pain that such a race must inflict upon the drivers in real-life when I crossed the line after 50 real-life hours.

Nope, Gran Turismo 5 doesn't currently allow you to save during the race. I had to drive quite a lot (Friday: 7 hours - Saturday: 10 hours - Sunday: 7 hours) since I didn't want to leave my PlayStation 3 on forever.
