Another home improvement fail

This house used to have solid wood bead board on the eaves, until some idiot ripped it all down to put vinyl in its place, I guess because they were too lazy to paint. Only a couple years later and it's already falling apart. It takes a special kind of moron to switch out old growth lumber for cheap plastic.
