Lane Motor Museum; Nashville, TN; 1958 ‘Sir Vival’, one of America’s earliest safety cars. Constructed by Watler C. Jerome out of a 1948 Hudson Commodore. It is unique in the safety car world as it is articulated just behind the engine compartment, which separates the passengers from the engine, and aids in impact deflection during a collision.
