Villa Zorayda; St. Augustine, FL; built in 1883 by Franklin W. Smith as his winter residence, it was inspired by the Alhambra palace in Granada, Spain. It was the first poured concrete building in St. Augustine, a method later used in greater scale on nearby hotels and churches, including the adjacent Ponce de Leon Hotel and Hotel Alcazar built by Henry Flagler.
