Blandwood Mansion, home of NC governor John Motley Morehead. Originally built as a four-room Federal style farmhouse in 1795. The Tuscan villa style addition, designed by architect Alexander Jackson Davis, was added in 1844, making the it oldest example of its style in the U.S. Original faux-grained door.
