At this point I was still feeling reasonably comfortable with the direction of the painting. I figured that I could integrate the collage elements that I'd started to add and it wasn't an issue.
Much of that collage is pieces of the urban landscapes I took recently from the bus. Apart from the orange piece in the left lower corner. They are some apricots. That piece hda already been put on the canvas some time ago. Same goes for the pen nibs about a third of the way up on the right hand side.
