Is blue better than aqua?

I was up painting this until 1am in the morning. It is only A3 size, however because of the amount of water I used with the acrylic layers I kept needing to spend time drying off before adding another layer. Apart from the constant attempts to dry it, I almost felt as if it painted itself.

 

Colours: Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Turquoise, Ultramarine blue and quin crimson.
