I'm thoroughly enjoying making this painting for my friend. So far, I've had no moments of "being stuck"... I'm just playing and seem to be happy to follow wherever the painting wants to go. I think because the painting is for someone I know so well, I'm very relaxed about it. And if it doesn't work out, I can just start another one, I have plenty of time.

 

And what a suprise... I'm using burnt sienna and ultramarine again!
