From photo to sketch
I can see why people love photoshop. No waiting for paint to dry... not charcoal covered fingers, or cramps in your hand from colouring, or cutting pieces for collage.
One can take a photo and within a few minutes totally change the look of that with just a few button clicks.
This was a photo of a blue stone church with a clock feature, and I've applied a charcoal effect.
I can see that I may come to love playing with photoshop, but all those things which can seem to annoying - paint on your clothes, graphite up your sleeve etc... that's all part of the fun. And you whilst the button clicking is nice, it doesn't quite have the emotional of having a good slosh around with some paint.
I guess it may be different methods for different moods...
