Painted

I was flicking through a body art book and came across a photo by Alberto Tolot. His painted model appeared almost like the bark on a tree. This piece is an adaptation of that photograph - with different colours, textures and more painterly lines to suit the medium. This has been liberally splashed with golden's clear tar gel to achieve spidery texture.
