beetle bits review

Beetle Bits Review...

I bought it to make consistent

strips of equal width.

I have NOT used it to cut triangles or diamonds...

You can see in this close up how you are able to

move the glass over a half inch (or whatever size you want)

and score again and again.

The yellow indicator on the cutter head

tells you exactly where the piece will be scored..

I am using 1/4 inch pieces now for the singer and they are breaking fine.

I find it to be well made of very sturdy materials.

Which is good with me around it!

I dropped something heavy on the cutter head

yesterday and it is fine. It does exactly what I

need it to. Straight cuts with little effort.

I could get straight cuts before, but found myself

grinding the strips into exact widths. With this

system that has stopped. I don't do a lot with strips

actually, but recently with the cone and pathway

of brick in it and the figure I am now working on,

those exact widths of the strips were important to

me enough to purchase this tool.

It will be a life saver with geometric patterns!

Bravo to the inventor. I am pleased with it!
