This Boeing Stearman used to be in the Santa Monica AM, CA where we saw it in July 2000. N555BF was still there in 2008, although the museum was gone. It's a PT-17, ex USAAF 41-8746 and seems to be at Chino these days.

If it was an N2S-4, as it says on the fin, it would indeed be ex US Navy
