Feeding the Family

After losing 2 pints of blood from mosquitoes yesterday and not getting that winning shot, I decided I had to give it a second go today.

 

This time I used mosquito repellent, but it only seemed to repel half of the mosquitoes (loss of 1 pint of blood). The other half I refer to as 'Chuck Norris Mosquitoes.'

 

Regardless, I am quite satisfied with this shot. It's too bad about the distractions in the frame, but otherwise I think this one is up there with some of by best bird photos. I hope! :-)
