Fierce

The weasel is a ferocious hunter, small and fast with the ability to squeeze into the smallest hiding places to find prey.

I was very excited to encounter this one high on top of the mountain trail. he gave me quite a show, running around the rocks for about 5 minutes. Sometimes coming as close as just a few feet.

I think this is a short tailed weasel.
