Limmer Boots

Used Limmer boots, on consignment. These things are apparently pretty indestructible, and can be repaired to an amazing degree (resoled, etc.), so when you buy a used boot it's not like you're missing out on anything a new boot could offer.

 

Makes for some interesting ruminations about what our society would be like if more items were as durable as these boots. Would you want to know more about the people who used them before you? Where else have these boots been? Would that knowledge increase the value of these boots?
