The plastic we added to both sides of the tuning strip helped to make it more rigid. The wires for the touch sensors proved to be a problem, because they wouldn't fit into the slot in an orderly fashion. Thus, I fell back on the age-old tradition of tape...lots of tape. Now the wires and tape can be guided into the slot relatively easily.
