Marvel Superheros: X-Men - Wolverine

James "Logan" Howlett, The Wolverine... Need I say more? Of course I do!

I miss the times there was a "mystery" to Wolverine's life. It was like we the reader were on the journey of his life as he lived it. Chris Claremont had a way of making the X-Men characters like "Real People". They just lived at the X-Mansion trying to live normal lives until they were on-call to find and help a fellow mutant out in the world. Often when reading Claremont's X-Men they weren't in costume and referred to each other by their real names and mystery man known only as "Logan" was one of the most interesting other than just being a savage killer trying to reclaim his humanity one step at at time and holding onto it.

But now the "mystery" is "solved" and now "Logan" is just a man trying to "begin" his life a new now that he has an identity... I know he died some years ago, but he'll be back because the X-Men motto: "X-Men never die!"
