I.V. Therapy
My brother had his appendix rupture about a month ago. Which is crazy and scary all by its self, but come to find out it only burst because he had a malignant tumor growing next to it. Yesterday he had to have parts of both his colon and intestine removed in hopes of getting rid of the cancerous cells in the area.
Life can be so fresh, fun, and exciting, one minute and scary, sad, serious the next. These times are always such blatant reminders to appreciate the good times and enjoy them to the fullest. He seemed to be in a bit of pain, but in decent spirits today, which was nice to see. We’ll find out later this week if the cells were isolated to that area and whether or not he’ll need further treatments. Sorry to post something that’s such a downer. I’m sure good news is right around the corner. This photo is a shot of one of the IV bag in his room.
