St. Jacobs Country Mill
The mill was built in 1851 by Jacob Snyder, the village's namesake. Its water-powered turbine provided electricity not only for the mill but for all of St. Jacobs. In 1981, the mill was turned into retail space, housing craft shops, galleries, and a museum.
