Making a Splash
Did you know that today is the US Coast Guard's 105th birthday? You'll actually find a different image of mine from here on the Bing homepage today in honor of that.
Anyway, here's a shot of some big storm waves during the king tide earlier this month. These were plenty big for this location and I found many of the biggest ones didn't have the definition and shape I wanted, but I'm still on a quest for a wave big enough to clear the top of the Tillamook Rock light.
