Lost Horse Mine

For a few years, this a successful gold mine. I believe the sign said 9000 lbs of gold were taken out of this mine. The mine shaft was over 700ft deep at it's deepest operation.

 

That's the short side of the trail coming in, with the trailhead approx 2 miles away. The trail is a loop, with the other side of the loop going off to the left, completing the 6 mile loop.
