Modifying the girlfriend's coffee maker

The beeping noise the coffee maker makes when finishing a pot was driving its resident owners bonkers, so I cut one of the wires to a piezo-electric speaker responsible for the rawkus!

 

Note the ROYGBIV-sequenced rainbow connector. Perhaps that year of electronics engineering before comp.sci has justified itself. ;)
