Airplane-Solar-Transit-07-29-23
On Saturday, July 29th, around 11 o'clock in the morning (UTC -3), while attempting to photograph the sun with my H-alpha telescope, I had the surprise of witnessing an airplane passing in front of the solar disk, lasting only a fraction of a second. This was an exhilarating moment, as it had happened to me only once in all my years of solar photography, and on that previous occasion, I missed the shot because I was adjusting the focus of my telescope.
It was a delightful coincidence!
To capture this photograph, I used a 90mm Coronado SolarMax II telescope paired with a Player One Saturn-M SQR camera.
