Worshipful Brother Tim Strickland, PM and Junior Warden of Horry Lodge No. 381 is no exception. Brother Tim took on a personal project to bring relief to a family in need. And with the assistance of WB Ronnie Elvis, Sr., PM, Horry Lodge #381, RW Brother Chris Holland, DDGM of the 29th Masonic District, the Masters and Wardens Club of the 29th Masonic District as well as many other lodges and individuals who contributed, Brother Tim was able to raise enough monies to purchase a beach access chair for Katherine Huddleston as well as monies for medical expenses. The following photos indicate how happy this family was to receive assistance for their daughter who has had cebral palsy all her life. Katherine is now 21 years old and can enjoy a trip to the beach with her family, where as before, she would have to stay at home. The following letter of thanks sums it up pretty well..
.
"To all the Mason's..
We want to give a big Thank You to everyone who was involved with getting out daughter Kathi the beach wheelchair. You all made the impossible happen, for Kathi to go to the beach with us. We can't thank you all enough or tell you what it means to us..
This really already has improved Kathi's life, because she doesn't have to stay behind anymore..
God bless you all..
Sincerely,.
Angelika, Ken, Katherine, Jennifer and Laura Huddleston .
