Kissing Rocks

Here is my entry for the "Your Best Shot 2022 group". I have been chasing an image like this for years at this location and finally grabbed one I am happy with. It takes just the right tide and swell to be able to shoot low enough to the water to see through the arch, while also having enough water to hide the algae covered rocks. Taken while standing in knee to waist deep water, and constantly lifting my tripod above my head to avoid drenching my camera, then re-placing the tripod in time to snap a photo between waves. This spot does not directly face sunrise or sunset so it takes quite the sky to get color above. Hope you enjoy.
