I was such an 80's girl! My mom picked out those horrible glasses, not that there was a lot to choose from in 1984. I was 8! I loved that gress so much and yes, that is a striped white cotton tube sock. This is a snapshot of a poleroid because windows stopped updating drivers for my scanner in 2002.
