TALMAG Trial 2011
The TALMAG trial takes place each January on a corner of the Army’s training area just outside Aldershot. Every motorcycle taking part has to have been built before 1965 and they are generally ridden by people of the same period. Riding bikes that I would think twice about riding to the shops on the elderly riders scream their way through, over, up and down some alarming obstacles. A nice lack of crash barriers means that you can get nice and close to the action to get some good shots.
Just for fun I started the day trying to use nothing but a 70-200mm lens and shooting at nothing but F2.8, but I got bored and started messing about with flash instead...
