Oh joy!

They're back . . . well at least a pair. A mandarin duck photographed this morning on the River Dodder, below Rathfarnham bridge, Dublin.

 

I had a premonition this morning and switched to a 300mm lens before going on my morning walk. So when I saw the mandarins I was well prepared for them.
