Satomi Grim
Anniversary Dinner at Sono
My outfit consisted of -
Antique light gey hitoe houmongi with roses.
Antique yellow and orange asanoha juban.
Antique soft pink rose embroidered ro obi.
I stuck with a crisp white han'eri as I needed to simplify the overall look with out drowning in pinks and yellows.
I must say all the colours simply married together and I was extremely pleased with the soft romantic look I got <3
I received many lovely complements from a lot of the staff, and the hostess and I chatted about my outfit and kitsuke interest. I was offered some sake to celebrate that I was in, what she said, "Japanese style", and one girl came over to let me know that I fooled her into thinking I was Japanese when she had only seen me from behind.
These comments make me less embarrassed about my dressing techniques :) However, not much can be said for my appearance after a two hour sit down dinner and forty minute car ride home :/
Lesson yet to be learnt - take pictures first :P
Sorry about the quality of the photos. My ol faithful cyber shot has given up the ghost and I have resorted to the use of my mobile camera.
